After submitting your Full Proposal, the Program Staff Review, Request for More Information, and Expert Review, the proposal is ready for further circulation and consideration by the Executive Staff. This step in the process generally occurs within six weeks after the initial submission of your full proposal.

EXECUTIVE STAFF REVIEW Steps 14 thru 16

  1. Program Staff routes proposal to Executive Staff for review. The Program Staff creates a complete proposal packet of all the information gathered to date. This packet, along with the Program Staff's recommendation for funding is presented to the Executive Staff. The Executive Staff meets to analyze the merits of the proposal. The Executive Staff consists of the President of the Foundation and pertinent Foundation Vice Presidents and/or Program Directors.
  2. The Executive Staff makes a decision about the proposal. The Executive Staff determines whether the proposal should be declined or proceed to the next step in the review process. If the proposal is declined, a letter is sent to the applicant.
  3. The Executive Staff decides whether more information is needed from the applicant. The Executive Staff's review may result in the Foundation requesting additional information from the applicant. In this case, the Program Staff will send a "bounce letter" to the applicant. Once we have received your response, your proposal will proceed to the next step in the review process.

Generally at this stage in the review process, the Executive Staff decides that the proposal is ready for a final decision without requesting additional information from the applicant.
